When I was a little girl my Dad gave me my first film camera and I've been taking snapshots of my life ever since!
Those photos now are among my most precious possessions, especially since my dad passed away when I was a teenager. Photos are now all I have left of him. They take me back to that time with him. They tell me that we loved each other. That we danced and sang and laughed and cried and fought and loved AND LIVED.

Ever since I was a little girl, I prayed for a daughter of my own. God answered that prayer, two times!!! I always wanted a sister growing up (I have 2 brothers!), so being a part of this little sisterhood is so sweet for me! I am grateful every day for my girls and the time I get to spend with them!

Definitely wasn't planned that way.... now I have two December babies with birthdays right before Christmas, which makes December a very expensive month! ha! But, wouldn't have it any other way!

I rescued my Boston Terrier (Lola) when she was a 6 week old puppy and she's approaching her 12th birthday now! She has been through it all with me!
And if you're wondering if you can bring YOUR fur baby to your session... the answer is always YES!

My go-to drink from any coffee shop is a vanilla chai -- I like it hot, iced, blended, any way it can be ordered! My absolute favorite coffee shop is Kolkin Coffee in New Albany and if you haven't been there you should definitely try it out! You may even run into me there! I like to bring my laptop and edit there a lot!
i could survive on chai lattes and perfect bars.
Traveling out of the country for the first time to Europe when I was 16 years old changed my life! Since then I have visited over 20 countries, most of the States, and 4 continents. I still have a long list of places I'd love to visit, with Australia and Africa at the top of the list! My favorite places I have been to include Hawaii, Italy, and Japan.
